Welcome to the Swedish federation
Equally Unique is a Swedish Human Rights federation focusing on the rights of persons with disabilities according to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Convention on the Elimination of All forms of Discrimination against Women.
Equally Unique works for a society open for everyone. Our vision is a society that respects everyone on equal terms and acts for everyone’s right to participate on their own terms, regardless of whether they have a disability or not.
The Federation was formed in 2009 to jointly act and advocate for the right to accessibility and participation in society for people with a disability. We do so from a human rights perspective.
Equally Unique has 6 national member associations. Together we are representing about 80 000 members.
